OUR SHARED FOUNDATION
Peace. Love. Friendship. Prosperity.
The people are the purpose
PLIM — the Peace and Love International Movement — exists to introduce Iranian and Israeli societies to one another. By societies, we mean people: their families, histories, cultures, hopes and ways of thinking. Our aim is to help the two nations know one another directly, feel safe in one another’s company and build lasting friendship.
A clear stand against the Islamic Republic
We firmly oppose the Islamic Republic of Iran and the hostility, antisemitism and propaganda it has promoted since 1979. We regard the regime as an enemy of Iranian freedom and of friendship between our nations. It is excluded from the partnership we seek. Our opposition is directed at the regime and its ideology; our work is grounded in the dignity of people and freedom of belief.
A free Iran and a secure Israel
Our vision is a strong, sovereign and prosperous Iran, restored to constitutional monarchy under Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi, living in lasting friendship with a secure and flourishing Israel. We support equal citizenship, the rule of law and the Iranian people’s freedom to determine their constitutional future. This is the future we work towards through peaceful civic and cultural cooperation.
Understanding through encounter
We are developing opportunities for travel, cultural visits, dialogue and the exchange of ideas and philosophy. We want Iranians and Israelis to encounter each other’s everyday lives, literature, heritage and aspirations. We also seek connections between diaspora communities, educators and professionals. Personal encounters can challenge fear, correct false impressions and turn shared interests into lasting trust.
Our commitment
Peace begins when people can meet without fear. Love becomes meaningful through respect and responsibility. Prosperity grows when knowledge, opportunity and friendship are shared. Dr Daniel Dana and Dr Peyman Bakhshayesh are working together to give these principles a practical future through PLIM and the renewed PLIM Charity project.
These principles guide the collaboration between Dr Daniel Dana and Dr Peyman Bakhshayesh on PLIM and PLIM Charity.
